What are you working on?
Learn Flash with a short tutorial in your tool, or bring in the firmware you already have.
Start here: build a BMI270 driver
Create a project, implement a driver for the M5Stack CoreS3’s built-in BMI270 motion sensor and check its readings on the board in five steps. Every step has instructions and a clip for Flash IDE, Flash CLI and VS Code.
Select your board, configure a firmware project and verify the initial build with the project wizard.
2. Add a peripheralTell Flash which parts are on your board, so it works from their datasheets and knowledge.
3. Switch agent modesMove between Normal, Plan, Teach and Debug in your tool, and turn on Debug mode for work on the board.
4. Write a driverPlan, implement and build a driver for the BMI270 from its datasheet, reviewing each change.
5. Debug on the boardProgram the board, check the readings over serial and inspect the running firmware with the debugger.
Already have firmware?
Open your project folder as it is, or import a copy. Then give Flash its context and build a baseline before you change anything.
